The Importance of Coating Process:
The primary purpose of coating is to absorb stray light outside the lens's effective aperture, preventing it from passing through and affecting image quality. By uniformly applying black coating to the outer diameter and beveled edges of the lens, stray light scattering within the lens can be effectively reduced, thereby enhancing image clarity and contrast.
The purpose of applying ink
1.Absorb the light from the edges of optical components, thereby reducing the stray light coefficient of the optical system.
2 Absorb the reflected light from the tube and the diaphragm.
3. Make the appearance of the lens more harmonious and beautiful.
The ink used in optical inking is a specially formulated optical matte coating. Its main features include:
High light absorption: The reflectivity is extremely low in the visible and near-infrared bands (usually less than 3%).
Matte surface: The surface is microscopically rough and does not undergo specular reflection.
Strong adhesion: It can firmly adhere to glass, plastic or metal mirror tubes.
Good weather resistance: It will not fall off or change color due to changes in temperature and humidity.
Low gas release: No contaminants will be released inside the sealed lens (preventing fogging).
