Ultra-thin glass represents a sub-set of flat glass which is 1.1 mm thick or less. Commercial substrates tend to be in the 0.01-0.7 mm range, approaching the thickness of a human hair in the very thinnest products. Highly specialized sheets can be as thin as 0.03 mm. However thin, the ultra-thin glass substrates tend to have all the qualities that make glass indispensable in electronics, optics and the most demanding engineering environments.

A typical project runs from raw thin glass sheet to chemically strengthened, optically coated, CNC-cut panel in one location, saving time and maintaining tight quality control. For multi-layer optical coatings (AR + AF, or AG + ITO) we integrate the full sequence on site.
