• He Rui optics can provides various customized all-surface-polished sapphire rods. These rods have good polished round surface as well as general two plane high-precision polished surfaces.

• The precision sapphire rod is used in a wide range of applications. It can be made with all surfaces polished for optical and wear applications or with all surfaces fine grind (un-polished) to serve as an insulator. Sapphire Rods are available in a range of outer diameter and lengths. OD’s as small as 0.3mm. Generally, c-cut sapphire rods with the minimized birefringence and good mechanical properties for continuum generation.
