Zinc selenide (ZnSe) lenses are specialized optical elements commonly used in infrared (IR) imaging, biomedical, and military applications. These lenses are often utilized in high-power CO2 laser applications and, due to their sufficient transmission in the visible spectrum, can also be used for visible light beam alignment.
